Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Lucas A — 07 Jul 2014
At the end of this wonderful trilogy, Celine and Jesse inquire us on a key question: Can love survive a long period of coexistence? The answer is simple: yes. Love is the most powerful machine of the universe, often romantic, sometimes ambiguous, and even more: allied to mess with our feelings.
Love is all, love is able to come together and at the same time, break all connections. 'Before Midnight' is simply touching. I Recommend and recommend again it to anyone who hasn't watched.
It is the third time I watch the film but I hadn't realized the importance of this masterpiece! Richard Linklater and his cinematographic romantic universe brings us one of the best films of the year.
Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke are plausible. 'Before Midnight' is smooth, intense, romantic and touching.
