Review of Beetlejuice (1988) by Michael D — 21 Apr 2012
A recently married couple dies accidentally, and they think they are free from the cares and worries of the living world, but when they seek afterlife help for the living pests that have moved into their home, they find the afterlife is probably more bogged down in paperwork and red tape than the living world.
it's one of the funniest concepts for a movie ever. Tim Burton, naturally, puts his unusual visual style to work here to marvelous effect, and Michael Keaton gives one of the most memorable performances ever.
