Review of Bee Movie (2007) by Baurushan J — 03 Jan 2014

The story is about Barry B. Benson voiced by Jerry Seinfeld who is bored with staying inside the beehive and wants to see the outer world. After graduating from the college, he becomes a pollinator but then stumbles into the human world when he meets New York florist, Vanessa Bloom voiced by Renee Zellweger, an insect lover who protects him when Barry makes the shocking discovery that humans are using honey only to realise that if bees keep all of the honey, they will stop pollinating causing all the plants to die leading to extinction for both plants and animals.

I liked how this movie created a message showing the barrier between the humans and the insects showing us do we harm them in any way by using them or their creations as products, also this movie shows the film from the bees' point-of-view and not ours which is also very challenging.

Bee Movie gets a solid 8.5/10.
