The best thing about Bee Movie is the voice work. Matthew Broderick, Barry Levinson, Patrick Warburton, John Goodman, and Renee Zellweger all do outstanding jobs. I wish the film was as good as the actors.
The approach is a muddled mix between kid-friendly jokes and more mature references. The animation (particularly the characters' faces) is also a bit lacking. Bee Movie is cute and funny, but you expect more.
