Review of Bee Movie (2007) by Noel N — 16 Jun 2010

I'm sorry, but Jerry Seinfeld has to be the worst voice actor Dreamworks has ever sought out. I know they love tons of star power in their films, but seriously... did they even listen to how horrible a voice actor he is? I know that sounds harsh, but I honestly don't care. Dreamworks, don't be afraid to pick lesser-known people to voice characters in your films. Jerry, stick to live action. Problem solved!

Oh yeah, and the plot was very... strange. One minute our bee hero (I can't even bother to remember his name since it's been so long since I've watched this movie) is contemplating an inter-species relationship with that... woman... and the next OH NO! humans are "stealing" our honey! We have to stop them! Not much of an attention grabber, is it? This review isn't very insightful seeing as I've only seen the movie once... back when it was out in theaters three years ago... but I suppose the fact that I don't WANT to see it again kind of tells you something on what I thought of the film overall.
