Top performances by Burton and O'Toole. Burton plays a smart and resolute Becket. O'Toole's young Henry II is a domineering cagey hedonist, and just a bit more reckless than the older Henry II O'Toole also plays in "The Lion in Winter.
" I am not sure why I hadn't seen or heard of this movie before.
