Review of Because I Said So (2007) by Charlotta L — 08 Mar 2009
She's just your normal, overprotective, overbearing, over-the-top mother.
An very overprotective and meddling mother decides that her daughter needs a man in her life. And when her clumsy and yet adorable daughter always seem to pick the wrong guy, she decides to pick one for her. By putting in an add on a match-making site...
The mother, without her daughters knowledge meets up with the men that answers the ad...and thinks that she has found the perfect guy...
But during theese meetings a musician at the bar where she meets the guys, finds out what she is doing, gets interested and tries to woo the daughter himself...dispite the fact that out dear medlling mom, told him not to....
Because I Said So is a typical romantic comedy. You pretty much know how its going to end and all that. But I still loved this one for some reason...
Mandy Moore is perfect as the daughter, Diane Keaton is the perfect meddling mother....and yeah, I do have a crush on the absolutly gorgeous Gabriel Machtm who is perfect as the "rebel-ish" musician...
Daphne Wilder:God couldn't be everywhere so that is why he invented mothers.
Maggie: What? That was on a Hallmark card we gave you.
