Review of Because I Said So (2007) by Emma H — 09 May 2009
Diane Keaton is just perfect in the role of the meddling mother who just wants the best for her daughters. The love of a mother is unconditional, she will always be our mother and probably really will know what is best for us at the end of the day, even if we are sure she is so utterly wrong - which we see here too.
To see Diane Keaton as the mother who is trying to find the right man for her youngest daughter, is to see a perfect display of true love between mother and daughter. Great casting, a lovely film - not just for the girls.
