Review of Beauty Mark (2017) by Robert L — 12 Jun 2018
Very impactful. The stress and hopelessness of such abject poverty and trying circumstances come through clearly with excellent acting and interactions between Angie (Ms. Thornton) and Ruth Ann (Ms. Curtin).
The manner in which substance abuse, child abuse, poverty and seemingly unsurmountable circumstances are portrayed demonstrate a serious problem in our society and how often it is ignored or put aside since it is such an uncomfortable topic.
