"We heal by the telling of our stories.". Beauty Mark is a powerful, raw, and deeply moving film that bravely and realistically confronts childhood sexual abuse and intergenerational trauma. There are moments of crushing pain, shock, irrepressible laughter, and redemption.

I wanted to leap out of my seat at the end and yell "Bravo!" As a trauma processing therapist I am especially grateful for this magnificent film, as it holds the potential to help other victims begin their healing journey.
