Visually stunning and faithful to the original animated film. The cast were all excellent, but, even though he did a good job, I don't feel that Luke Evans was physically an appropriate choice for the alpha-male Gaston.

In the original film, Gaston is large muscular man (Dwayne The Rock Johnson's build) with a deep intimidating baritone voice, Luke Evans just didn't fit the bill. Beauty and the Beast is not nearly one of my favourite Disney animated flicks, but judging by how closely this live-action version sticks to the original source material, I'd say they did a rather excellent job on the remake.
