Review of Beauty and the Beast (2017) by Saddy S — 04 May 2017
Honestly? What to expect. It's a Disney live action movie. The movie kept up with the many songs. Beautiful voices. It's the same story, like the soundtrack says "A tale as old as time..." Was okay to watch, not really a romance fan.
The beast was, as in the old version, my favourite. Turning back into a human is really disappointing. But, it's the story. All in all, pretty nice, funny scenes (Gaston), spoiled beast, but I couldn't really stand the scene SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER when Belle came to save her father and betrayed the beast by showing "the monster" to everyone in the village through the mirror.
I hate traitors. And of course, he forgave her, didn't even mention it, that everyone from the village was destroying his house and trying to kill him. Well: true love, right?
