Surely, it isn't as good as the original, it would be impossible. 2017 "Beauty and the Beast" is good, entertaining, gorgeous and beautiful. As a fairytale, it works, as a remake, it also does.

Sometimes the CGI doesn't do its job and some choices that were made weren't really helpful or useful. But in the end, it is a good remake and a well sempt 2 hours of a beautiful and nostalgic story.
