Review of Beauty and the Beast (2017) by Darcy F — 13 Apr 2017

I loved who was casted for the film, and I thought the movie was beautifully done while still staying true to the original Disney story. I do believe that it should have been more "magical" though.

For example, when the live action version of Cinderella came out, I thought it to have strayed too far from Cinderella's story/traditional art style, but it did have a wonderful magical effect. Beauty and the Beast would have benefited if the flare from the "Be Our Guest" scene was also sprinkled throughout the rest of the film.
