If you think that no one has done a LOYAL version of the original story, then I asume you have never seen this new version (2014). Is a MUST WATCH for the lovers of the original plot/tale. At last they made one! I have been searching for versions loyal to the Grimm's tale and non seem to be such until I discovered this one.
The past of the "Beast's" tale, the real story of "Belle" and her family (sisters + brothers). All is here! Oh, and if you expect romance...leave that word behind (another thing I loved of this movie.
Coz such thing was never on Grimm's mind, since they love creatures, gore and scary stuffs...not romance). So yes, loved this and do recommend it. Again, if you love romantic fairy tales...don't watch this.
But if you love LOYAL films to ORIGINAL, creepy+fantastic visuals, then IS FOR YOU! Enjoy. - July 2, 2015 review ;D.
