Review of Beauty and the Beast (2014) by Tim R — 07 Mar 2017

I believe that when a film is so grandiose with remarkable visuals, a lot of interpretation is to be had and that scares an average movie watcher. "The Fall" was another gorgeous movie with absolutely stunning imagery that fell flat with reviewers.

While I have a few minor issues with this film, the visuals more than makes up for it as I was captivated throughout. As an artist, I know that color palettes, costume/set design, and cinematography may not interest most as much as an easy to follow narrative or classic design so I try to stay unbiased with reviews but this film deserves way more recognition for their achievements.

Love how they handled the classic story and I don't think Disney will be able to top this.
