Review of Beauty and the Beast (2014) by Samadhi R — 08 Oct 2016

Staying more closer to the French version of fairy tale rather than the Disney one means I had to view it differently. There is more back story to Belle's family as well as one for the Beast. I found it interesting was how it slowly unfolded the Beast's origins, like sort of a detective story.

But on the other hand the movie seems to rely heavily on the CG visuals to try to make it more captivating, at the expense of the characters.
