Review of Beauty and the Beast (2014) by Millo T — 20 Dec 2014

Probably, the authors know that this movie is not going to avoid that our reference movie for this story is the Disney classic (and they do not avoid). However, they try a preciosistic approach that takes the obscurity, subtleness and complicated plot of the old tales, and it works.

It has some concessions to the audience (too much action in the end, and probably an excess oft sensuality) that can make valoration diminish (finally, between 2.5 and 3 stars), but somehow (mostly the second aspect) contributes to make the story, contradictory, a little more adult.
