Review of Beautiful Creatures (2013) by Allie S — 11 Jun 2013

Macon: "Mortals, I envy you, for you are such beautiful creatures.".

Anyways, though this movie ventured far from the book, I thought it was great. I have already read the whole 4-book series and its one of the best I've read. I have to admit I was disappointed on how much they left out, such as Marion, Boo Radley, Larkins true nature, etc. The film also combined the first 3 books, which I did not like. Sarafine was not, NOT, supposed to die until the 3rd book, and the Book of Moons was supposed to be in the hands of a powerful Incubus, and that is what makes up books 1-3. So, overall I loved the movie, but I wished it had stayed true to the book.
