The Ari Aster haters having finally found a crack to delve into I see. When you make two films that are as impeccable as Hereditary and Midsommer it's hard to follow up, but Beau is Afraid happens to be a visual masterpiece despite what anyone may think or say.
I think the story tone hit a realistic nerve with some people, but with that being said: it is not as good as Aster's previous two films. But that's still saying something.
