Review of Beatriz at Dinner (2017) by Chris M — 07 Jul 2017
I wish there'd been a third act: thinking here of the college-student daughter suddenly showing up at home, her cancer having returned, just as the dinner table battle over healing (or not) goes nuclear.
The characters would be confronted with a present-tense, active-voice, action-demanding incident that embodies (literally) everything that had (so far) been at a remove...?
