Review of Beatriz at Dinner (2017) by Eric F — 26 Aug 2017
Wow, what a potent message this film delivers!
Selma Hayek is brilliant, and John Lithgow turns in an excellent supporting role, in this character study showing the contrast of the greed and arrogance of the super rich and the working class in our society.
I'm not sure how many people will be enlightened by anything anymore, but for people willing to expand their thought process , this film will make you think about the values of our society.
Grade A+.
