Review of Beatriz at Dinner (2017) by Anthony B — 20 May 2018
The most I've gagged in an 80 minute period. Hackneyed indie drivel presented as high art. I watched Beatriz At Dinner because it was a Miguel Arteta/Mike White collaboration (check out Chuck & Buck) and I heard it was darkly funny (like Chuck & Buck), but instead of laughing at jokes, I found myself choking on smugness.
