Review of Beatriz at Dinner (2017) by Ivonne V — 24 Jun 2017
I realize how anything with substance is overlooked and dismissed today. This film is so relevant and it's frightening to see what our society has become. Greed, narcissistic, apathetic and callous.
Salma Hayek and John Lithgow gave a performance of a lifetime and put up a mirror to reflect the image of our society and it wasn't pretty. This is not dark or funny, but sad. Hope you are recognized for your work.
