Review of Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) by Sara W — 24 Feb 2013

There were some good points, to be sure. BUT there were enough weak points that I neither loved this movie nor was I amazed nor awed nor anything like that. I'll probably never think about it again, honestly.

I saw a documentary about the very poor in Louisiana years ago and that was shocking. This is a story. I don't really know how to feel about it. It wasn't an especially good story as far as stories go.
