I know I'm probably alienating people by saying this, but this movie was too disjointed and too haphazard to be good storytelling. It was...interesting...but I would not call it particularly good. It was visceral and startling, heartbreaking in parts, but not really a movie or story.
Just random squalor-laden randomness. The acting in the movie, if it really was acting, was quite phenomenal, but that's about it.
