Down in the bayous of Louisiana, a beautiful film capturing the essence of fearlessness was shot, allowing sheer poetry to be shown on screen. "Beasts of the Southern Wild" proved to be a movie that emitted a juxtaposition of innocence and strength with subsequently formed itself to be a unique masterpiece.
There are several elements that made this movie a very promising one, and possibly the best of 2012. One cannot question the acting -- Wallis and Henry complemented each other perfectly on screen. The stakes are definitely set high on Wallis as she knocked her debut out of the ball park.
The overarching theme of "Beasts of the Southern Wild"contributed to its overall meaning of heart and truth. A very good movie indeed.
