Review of Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) by Bud B — 20 Aug 2013
This film was so unique but it was the source of its own demise. The screenplay veered off into a couple of bizarre twists that were unnecessary. At times I wondered, is this a dream sequence and I missed the fact that the main character is asleep? I wish it had been more consistently written because the acting was compelling.
