Beasts of No Nation tells the story of a young boy's journey and transformation from innocence into a child soldier. This film is bleak, it does not hold back - and rightfully so, this is a serious subject matter.
Idris Elba is great as the Commandant, but the kid, Abraham Attah, is the true star; he's phenomenal.
