Jack Black becomes magnetized and erases all the VHS tapes in the video store where he hangs out. To fix this, he and Mos Def film their own bootleg versions of popular movies to replace the blank ones.
Crazy filmmaker Michel Gondry takes that insane premise to the next level when he uses it to make a statement about urban gentrification!
