Review of Be Kind Rewind (2008) by Derek B — 06 Jul 2010
As someone who dreams of making films one day, this movie is incredibly depressing to me. I think the film poster and DVD cover are misleading; two wacky dudes surfing on a giant VHS tape, having a gay ol' time.
What really killed me was Danny Glover going to the big chain movie store and making a list of everything you need to be a successful rental store. Probably the most bittersweet movie ending I've ever seen.
