Review of Baywatch (2017) by Zach R — 26 May 2017

I know that reviews tend to exaggerate, and I'll do my best not to do so, but this is the worst movie both I and my girlfriend have ever seen. If this movie were to be defined in a couple words, I'd say it was cringeworthy, cheesy, corny, awful, and a disgrace.

The supporting actors (disregarding Johnson and Efron) were so bad, I could swear they were strangers off of the street. The predictable storyline was so corny and bad that I think they took it from an elementary schooler's notebook.

I'm in disbelief that this has a viewer rating of 71%! Even speaking with the other watchers after the movie, they could all agree that this was an absolute waste of money, and a waste of a date night for my girlfriend and I.

In fact, the funniest part was the deleted scenes playing during the credits. You get what you expect from The Rock and from Zac Efron, and their relationship through the movie was the only "laugh-able" and the only thing keeping us and many others from leaving before the halfway point.

Do not waste your money or time on this movie, because, like many others, you will regret it.
