Review of Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007) by Enrique R — 31 Dec 2007
Where to start? Perhaps by writing I have watched it twice and I am still so excited about all the information they have thrown up at us in just 2 hours! the flashbacks are wonderful and they do help to know more about the past of some characters and about the Cylon wars. It is terribly well acted and even more grittier and violent than the series. This is the BEST Sci Fi show out there ever, dare I say better than Heroes. Its real and its dark, no mimicks to anything. This film or extended feature builds up the whole mythology of the 13 colonies and the cylons so well that having watched Season 3 of the main show and all the seasons before that you just end up with a huge big cloud wondering how fantastic season 4 SHOULD AND WILL be. It works well as a standalone scifi film as many of the flashbacks are related to the film and no necessarily to only the series. Buy the extended edition in DVD! it is worth 13£ or 10£ [online] because you get the minisodes and the extended feature!!! which was not shown on SKY.
And yes...I still want to know who would turn out to be the fifth cylon and the saving Angel!!!
