Review of Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007) by Felipe M — 08 Jun 2009
This answered some of the questions I had about the period between the destruction of Caprica and Lee Adama's command of the Pegasus. I thought it was going to be one of those crummy 1-hour recaps they like to show instead of a fresh episode, but I was wrong. It's Battlestar Galactica (TNS) at its best, and worth the DVD rental fee. A must-see for anyone who's been following the series. But unfortunately, it may not stand on its own- it really needs some context. You'd really have to be familiar with TNS to take away from Razor what you need to take away for full enjoyment.
I have to agree with a previous critic- Star Trek's got nothing on BSG-TNS. It's like watching the third season of Lost after years of putting up with overexposure to Gilligan's Island.
