Review of Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007) by Patrick S — 09 Jun 2015
In case anyone ever doubted it, Admiral Cain appears to be a terrible, terrible woman. The movie is not terribly deep, but it serves well to justify Commander Adama's actions during Season 3, when he became willing to have her assassinated so easily. This movie is not the equal of BSG 2003, as James Edward Olmos (Commander William Adama) and Mary McDonnell (President Laura Roslyn), who are the actors who truly carried the first movie, are hardly present in this movie.
I feel comfortable recommending this movie - don't expect a compelling drama, but the movie is fun and it makes for a good backstory.
