Propaganda.....studying Soviet Cinema at the mo, and this is a ''have to watch'' movie for this unit.
If people watch this movie then they will understand the 6.4 event in Tian An Men square was just something that communist had to go through and learn from it. People cant blame the communist, because that's just what they are. It's a process for seeking the better, those ''bad'' things happened be4 in any communist country.
