One of the BEST war movies ever. It is good in that it showed the psychological aspect of war. I do not think it glorified war but showed the gritty reality of it.
Besides It is about the 101st Airborne!
Notice the hard core cigar chewing Sargeant is Brooks from The Shawshank Redemption.
