Review of Battlefield Earth (2000) by Dhruv G — 24 Feb 2014

One of those So Bad It's Good movies. I'm one of the few people that actually went and saw it in the theatres twice! Personaly, I think Travolta actually did a good job with his role. Some of the SFX and camerawork were decent as well.

The Rest, insanely horrible! The Hubbard novel is a favorite of mine, certainly not fine literature but it was meant to be a celebration of pulp style adventure sci-fi. The movie, however, took a huge steaming dump on what Hubbard wrote.

I wish the version I watched in the theatre would be available to see, instead of the edited version released to DVD...
