An exquisite gore fest a thousand times darker than Hunger Games. The character's are well acted and developed and the action nail-bitingly brutal. With all its violence, underlying satire and bleak yet oddly endearing tones, Battle Royale most definitely earns it's place on the world's top movie lists.
