The Hunger Games before Hunger Games came into existence -- Battle Royale is noticeably more violent and isn't afraid to push the envelope. It is very interesting to take note of all the dramatic cues and influences that were taken from Battle Royale and transposed into Hunger Games.
Battle Royale is an organized chaos. It unleashes gratuitous amounts of violence and mayhem while still delivering excitement, shock, and even laughs. You will be taken aback by the first casualty, but you will slowly yearn to see exactly how many ways they can butcher and slaughter 9th Graders.
