Review of Battle Royale (2000) by Compi24 — 31 Oct 2018
Action movie junkies would be extremely remiss to pass up this classic -- yet still somehow unsung -- gem of a Japanese thrill ride. "Battle Royale" is a terrifically thought-provoking, well-paced, and (most importantly) invigorating actioner, featuring a dynamite premise, and a bevy of eye-popping set pieces.
Throw in a little bit of Takeshi, and you've got yourself quite the cinematic achievement on your hands. Overall, this was a fantastic time and I hope more people see it.
