Review of Battle Royale (2000) by James W — 09 Jan 2016
Before there was THE HUNGER GAMES., there was this film. As much as I liked THE HUNGER GAME movies this is even better. It's a very similar premise in a dystopian future, this time Japan, the adults force teenagers to fight each other to the death as a way of maintaining law and order.
I can see why this is one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite films. It's really good if you can handle the premise that is.
