Review of Battle of Britain (1969) by Sue B — 28 Aug 2007
Fantastic and unparalleled flying sequences, using real aircraft - and therefore will probably never be bettered. A bit long, perhaps a bit slow in places, but the story is authentic, the cast amazing (Robert Shaw is the man) and the action impossible to fault.
Plus the score is a bona fide classic. Worth a Sunday afternoon for sure.
