This, along with A Bridge Too Far and possibly Tora, Tora, Tora! are the best war films ever made. This film is wonderful. A must for ANY film collection, especially any one interested in war-time history.
Also, notice the musical cue during the battle montage that Hans Zimmer stole for gladiator?
