Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by Alan K — 23 Mar 2012
The movie starts off slow and you expect it to pick up, past the touching Marine stories and heartwarming brotherly marine love, which lasts too long. Actually with the mushy marine talk this feels like a sci fi movie made for ex marines with bad taste in movies.
It's more like An Officer and a Gentlemen with less story and more shooty. It also NEVER ENDS just when you hope the movie will end it lasts another 30 long minutes, then it repeats itself again and again.
That being said the acting wasn't terrible and the special effects were ok, its fine for background noise at a house party but not much else.
