Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by Shawn B — 19 Apr 2012
Not a bad modern "Independence Day" for the newer generation (and hell, Aaron Eckert even looks like Bill Pullman for the most part). This movie is certainly LOUDER than it's predeccesor, and somewhat less interesting.
Essentially BLA is one big combat mission, us vs the aliens, without much plot in between. Fun for all the explosions, but there's not much heart.
