Incredibly bad. Unoriginal in the extreme: even the movies it rips off were bad (eg Independence Day). Hole-ridden, contrived, unconvincing plot.
Wooden acting. Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez deserve better. Clearly they needed the money, or didn't realise how crap the movie was when they read the script.
The only positive thing about it: it's better than Skyline!
Avoid.
