Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by David S — 20 Jul 2012
The story is lame. The acting ridiculous. The script appalling. The character development non-existent, and despite every attempt to give it a Michael Bay-esque explosive quality, it fails in that too! Never have I been more bored in a film with this many detonations, gun fights and yelling Marines.
Every possible cliche was turned on full blast in just the opening 20 minutes alone. And I like Michelle Rodriguez, but does she HAVE to play the same character in every film?
