Wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. it really a battle movie more than a sci-fi movie. follows the usual big bangs character development so you're sad when they die kind of thing and of course they throw a kid and dad in for good measure.
don't get me wrong the acting was pretty decent for this genre. I just wanted more sci-fi techno babble I guess. felt just a bit wanting. if your love fight scenes and battle field bonding this is your movie even if you're not into aliens.
