Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by Julian B — 30 May 2013
Exhausting, unimaginative, and overridden with war movie cliches. An interesting concept, where it takes the eyes of a squad of soldiers stationed In L.A. while there is an alien invasion of the world.
There was some really good camera sequences. It was intense and they did well to bode the atmosphere that the crew wanted. It has a tedious and anti-climatic end which only even further questions the purpose of the plot.
A disappointment on many levels. However, it does provide some good action sequences and tense moments. If you take it for what it is you'll find it enjoyable.
